Fruits for Health
Fruits play a major role in your health, and when added to your diet, you reap the benefits in more ways than you can imagine. Some of my favorite fruits are strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and kiwi. All of these fruits are not just rich in antioxidants, but they also contain multiple nutrients and vitamins that help prevent certain cancers, protect against heart disease, and maintain a healthy blood pressure.
Tip: Fruits are a great pre workout snack. They help to give you energy and contain vitamins & minerals necessary for recovery from your workouts.
Some other fruits great to eat for pre-workout are:
•bananas-loaded with potassium
•dried fruit
•apple wedges with or without peanut butter
• fruit smoothies
