Hi everyone, it's great to meet you! Thanks for your interest in Fit Mommies.
My love for fitness began at an early age. I played multiple sports in middle and high school and while on the track team, my passion for running blossomed. I received a full-scholarship to attend the University of Miami. There, I earned a BS in Education while earning All-American honors in the 4x400 relay. Since then, I've taken my love of fitness off the track by founding Fit Mommies, which offers personal training for women as well as new and expecting mothers. I believe that every woman can achieve her fitness goals with support and encouragement. I can't wait to get to know you and your goals, and to give you the support you need to reach them!
As a mother, it's not easy to bounce back after having one child, better yet multiple children. Many women find it difficult to get back in shape. I understand. I am a mother of three beautiful girls, whom I call my "fitbabies." Before having children, I was a stellar athlete and was used to a strict workout regimen while I was in college, so not having someone tell me it was time to workout was at first challenging, especially after baby # 2. However, I remembered what it took as an athlete in college and what motivated me daily to get up, suit up, and give it my all during practice as well as track meets. What kept me motivated is the same reason you're here. Because I understand my body is my temple, and if I don't care for it, WHO WILL???
I am married to a former NFL'er, Kevin Everett whom I met while in college, whom along with my daughters is one of my biggest supporters. My desire is to support women as they strive to reach their full potential during their fitness journey.
